About Our Classes
Our classes are designed with safety, convenience, and flexibility in mind. We believe our dancers can learn AND have fun in a caring environment while still being held to high standards! Scroll to see our current Season offerings and class descriptions!
As an International Dance Technique and Acrobatic Arts Certified studio, we place students in classes that are developmentally and emotionally appropriate for their age and peer group. Starting at or after fourth grade, skill also becomes an important factor in class placement.
Our classes are broken up by age groups and/or skills:
Tiny Ages 3-5
Mini Ages 5-7
Jr Ages 8-10
Tween Ages 10-13
Teen Ages 12+

Hop like a bunny, slither like a snake...our Tiny Dance classes are made for those active waddlers and toddlers with oodles of energy! Welcome your child into their own Independence in this creative, fun and safe atmosphere of music and dance! Physical and mental skills such as balance, coordination, and body awareness are explored through play and dance with an emphasis on self-regulation skills and peer interaction. *Creative Dance, Ballet/Jazz and Acro styles are offered at this level.
Ages 5 - 7
Our Mini classes offer children the chance to try different dance styles to help them find the perfect fit for them! These classes focus on fun and movement with the benefits of improving coordination, large motor skill development, musical awareness, listening skills, counting skills, & social skills! Students will begin to learn the basic steps, techniques, and terminology for each style. Combo Jazz/Tap/Ballet, Hip Hop, Ballet & Acro styles are offered at this level.
Our Acrobatics program follows the Acrobatic Arts Syllabus. The Acrobatic Arts program is based on safe and effective progressions with proven results in five divisions of AcroDance: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling. Simple thoughtful progressions take the beginner preschool level dancer from log rolls and summersaults to the advanced dancer tumbling effortlessly across the stage!
Ballet- The classic training of Ballet is essential as dancers develop skill, technique, turnout, and discipline. A must for all dancers as they progress. Ballet is one of the basic foundations for all dance and its movements. Ballet concentrates on excellent training in body placement, discipline, grace, and poise. Students begin with Classical Ballet and as they progress into the upper levels we offer a combination of Classical & Contemporary Ballet. Pointe is offered for ages 11+ and with instructor approval. Dancers may chose the Recreational Dancer track or the Devoted Dancer track.
Hip-Hop is fusion of jazz & modern, danced to contemporary music. This class is perfect for dancers who love moving and grooving at a fast pace! Class will build the skills every dancer needs: gross motor skills, opposition, strength building, core engagement, brain to body connection, and so much more!
Students will learn the latest trends you see on Social Media (Instagram & TikTok), TV, & Music Videos! Age-appropriate choreography and music will be used in this high-energy class.
Jazz, while using ballet technique for its base, branches out into more creative, powerful and energetic movement through strength and expression. As one of the most expressive forms of dance, jazz offers dancers the chance to experience stylistic techniques in genres like Broadway, Lyrical, Latin, and Swing. As dancers advance, more challenging progressions, turns, and combinations are introduced.
Lyrical & Contemporary uses a variety of techniques and forms from different styles of dance including Ballet, Jazz, and Modern. Lyrical is often used as a method of storytelling and creates an emotional and expressive dance that is meant to relate to the lyrics of a songs. Contemporary requires strong technical skills, as well as a creativity through improvisation and an open mind. It is a more advanced style of dance that involves an understanding of music,
emotions, focus Intensity and dance technique.
