If a class you are requesting is full you may add your student to the class waitlist. If we have enough students on our waitlist we may open up an additional class! Those on the waitlist will be contacted first before we open up registration for the new class to other students.

We run the studio from the perspective of an everyday, busy parent and as such we try to keep all costs to a minimum and as affordable as possible. We also like to be transparent and upfront about costs, so you can plan accordingly.  

Quickview Policies: 

  • Regular Season Classes run from Aug 16, 2021 - May 16, 2022. When signing up for classes you are committing your child to the full school year. It is not a month by month program. 

  • Dancers must be ‘#’ years old before Sept 1st to meet listed ages for classes.

  • An annual Registration fee of $25/dancer or $55 for 3+ dancers is due at registration for the 2021-2022 school year. This fee brings many benefits including guaranteed spots in classes, priority registration for all Ovation Dance events, and resources, props and extra activities we include for each dancer.

  • Tuition is Auto-drafted on the 5th of every month and is charged for 10 months, Aug-May. Tuition is based upon the time period of the entire season schedule classes including Dress Rehearsals, and is divided into equal payments. There are no additional price cuts in months with holidays or school closures as well as no additional charges for months with extra lessons. In case of a weather closure a makeup class will be scheduled. Your Tuition includes your Recital fee (which goes towards space rental) and 2 Recital tickets per dancer (COVID related restrictions will determine how many tickets are distributed per dancer). There are no refunds on tuition. A $25 nonrefundable late fee will be charged on the 15h of each month for late tuition payments.  

  • All performance classes will perform in our Recitals (Nov & May) with the exception of Tiny classes. It is assumed that all dancers will participate in the end of the year recital unless you notify the director at kiah@ovationpac.com within 30 days of the start of the dance season.

  • All performing classes will need one costume. Costume costs are divided into 3 payments with the first payment ($30) being due with 1st months tuition (Aug 5), the second payment due with Nov tuition, & the third and final payment due with Feb tuition. This is to help ease the financial burden at the end of the year.

  • Classes are subject to cancellation before the season begins if registration does not meet minimum enrollment requirements 4 days before the class scheduled start date. In the case that a class is canceled we may combine classes. If we are unable to do so, we will instate a full refund for the cancelled class.​​

  • Students withdrawing from Ovation Dance must provide a 30 day written notice . Notices can be received by email. All tuition billing and late fees will apply. Annual and Semi annual payments will not be reimbursed.

Referral Program  

  • We love when our students refer their friends to our studio! Families who refer their friends to dance at Ovation Dance  during our school year program will receive a $20 credit towards anything at Ovation Dance – and your friend will, too! Have your friend list your name in the “How did you hear about us?” form online at registration.

Discounts 

  • Our monthly tuition pricing already includes multi-class and Family discounts however we do offer 2 additional discounts. We offer a 10% discount if tuition for the entire year is paid in full by Aug 31st. We offer a 5% discount on tuition if the yearly amount is made in 2 payments, the 1st half being due by Aug 31st & the 2nd half due by Jan 14th. Please contact us to apply for these discounts.
