Hair & Makeup

Don't you want to be able to see find your dancer's smiling face onstage and on camera!?

Then all dancers need to wear stage makeup (yes even the boys). The purpose behind this is because the stage lighting washes out the dancer's faces and the distance makes it difficult to distinguish facial features in person and on camera.

Inside Out Ponytail.jpeg

Center Parted Inside-Out Ponytail

Parted center, slicked back into a low *Inside-Out Ponytail. Ponytail can be straight or curly. Please secure bangs and other loose pieces of hair off the face using bobby pins, gel, and/or hairspray. All head/hair pieces should be secured in place with bobby pins. If your dancer has short hair, please do a half ponytail or pin the hair out of their face.

  • *Part the hair and then pull your hair into a low pony at the base of your neck and secure with an elastic. Use your fingers to create a hole right above your ponytail and then flip the tail into the hole. Gently pull the tail all the way through to and tighten the ponytail. Tutorial
