Education Support Team

Our teaching philosophy is centered on instilling a passion for the arts while building self-esteem and confidence in every child. The students’ well-being is our priority; their technical capability is secondary. The assistants in our program help comfort upset students, support the Teacher by handling bathroom runs, handing out stickers, and assisting with classroom set-up and breakdown, teach combinations and more. With our dance classes, there is a wide range of placements for our Ambassadors in our Education Support Team.

We have divided our Education Support Program into a tiered program, to ensure the growth, learning, and development of our team. Below are the purpose and qualifications of each of the levels. The positions are listed in minimum age requirement order. All Ambassadors must begin the program as a volunteer.  Limited paid positions are available for Assistant Teachers to apply for, beginning at age 16.  All assistants will be evaluated and assessed by the instructor and Ovation Dance Administrative team periodically.  Schedules are subject to change throughout the program year based on class enrollment.

All students who would like to join our Ambassador Education Support Team must first submit an application and attend the Mandatory Ambassador Training in August, in order to be considered for a position.
