Hair needs to be styled back and out of their face.

Recital Makeup

It is important for all dancers, including boys, to wear stage makeup when performing on stage. This is because the bright stage lights can wash out their faces, making it hard to see their expressions and features from the audience or in photos and videos. By wearing makeup, it helps to enhance their facial features and make sure their smiles and expressions are visible to everyone watching, either in person or through recordings. This way, parents can easily spot their child on stage and capture those special moments on camera.
